Hello! Half a year ago someone named Eerie Coppernight typed this post: “Am I the only one who thinks that Martin Ambrose looks rather like Emily Claude? Of course, the mademoiselle’s features are more delicate and the monsieur is definitely more heavyweight. However, does there not seem to be a resemblance of some fashion?” I responded: “Wait. Are you saying that Martin is Emily’s father? I mean it would add up. Her father was lost in the Snowmoors, so…” Eerie liked my post so I take it that that’s what she means. So here’s the backstory for Emily (I think).

Her father was an Autofficer so she trained also. Later, her father went to the Snowmoors and hasn’t been heard from since. That’s all. There are a few missions where you’re supposed to try to find more about where he might be. I think first you have to upgrade the Beacon’s radio. Then you battle an automaton where no matter what you get a coded message. Then you have to get a coding key to decode the message (obviously). That’s all I can remember but the only thing you get out of it other than rewards is that you can chat with Emily in the Beacon. There might be some info you can get out from her but I don’t remember anything. You can tell me what she says in the comments. So far I don’t think you hear anything out of her again, until Episode 3, unless you finished Episode 3 before you’ve finished the quest.

Martin Ambrose on the other hand is a different story. He hasn’t appeared yet in-game, but is in the Snowmoors. Some potential proof is that there is rumored to be a pit in the Snowmoors where the Empire throws ‘traitors into and they freeze. What if Martin was Emily’s father, and he realized that the Empire’s doings were wrong, so he rebelled, and it ended with him in the pit? But instead of freezing to death, what if he escaped?

On a different note, It wouldn’t work for the way people are related in the bible, but you see Lukas’ before you even see Alexander, so I don’t think it would be that much of a deal. It would be nice if he was friends with Jefferson. I know he’s supposed to be Moses.

This is really interesting for me and it helped me just realize that the Snowmoors is supposed to be Egypt. This would fit perfectly and be so nice. There are not much parental relations (but I think that the Scarlet Man might be the Great Engineer or his son) but Josephs brothers didn’t have 12 labs or something like that.

Darth Crinklegadget out.
