Okay. So…
I haven’t written a post in a while and there has been a bunch of stuff happening in the past week. Then I realized. I could make somewhat of a news series. The title was inspired by Grian, from HermitCraft,’s news ‘channel’ in HermitCraft 6, called: Hermiton News, sponsored by Sahara. I think that’s right…
Anyway, this is my first time so I hope you enjoy this series!
The Subscription Model
This has been a topic on the forums for a while. About 2 weeks ago, Mech Lightspark, the support guy for The Aetherlight, said The Aetherlight is going to be going away from the episodic model, and Jacoby Elderfun revealed they are going towards a subscription model.
Cons: people enjoy the episodic format because it’s cheaper, for example, if you pay 5 dollars a month, that’s 60 dollars a year, but if you paid for an episode, that would be 10 dollars. It’s inconvenient for some families
Pros: There are probably going to be smaller but more often increments of content and you will be able to cancel and keep your content. You’ll also be able to buy in bundles of months, discounted. Also, if you bought the 3 available episodes, you will get that much back in the subscription.
Mech Lightspark has said there is a big update coming in about 2 months. He has not confirmed whether or not the subscription is part of the update, but this is what we believe.
Also, I’m just trying to sound like a professional newsperson for fun, so let me know in the comments if you like it or not.
The Timekeeper’s Apprentice
The First Official Aetherlight Book!
A great start to the new decade for The Aetherlight! People have been waiting for an Aetherlight book for quite some time. (That may just be me waiting for an official book.) You could argue that The Aetherlight Bible is a book, but you couldn’t.
Here’s the thing. It’s God’s book. They just included pages to compare the Aethesian’s and Biblical characters, but it only adds up to about 30 pages.I’ve only read an online preview of The TImekeeper’s Apprentice, but the paperback will arrive at my house on Friday. But you can’t always trust tracking sometimes… Anyway, I may or may not write a review for the book on the site.
Closing
The moderators are also removing personal chat topics, but I’m not going to cover that today. Maybe in the next edition. Also, moderator Hanna Brassheart will try to also do Aethesian News on her site, but until she’s ready, it’s just me going to do it.
Thank you for reading this and please subscribe to my newsletter on my blog page and I’ll send a newsletter out once the next edition of Aethesian News is out, either on my site or Hanna’s.
Until next time,

Hey Crink! This is epic! I‘m excited to contribute to Aethasian News on my blog.
A review on TTKA would be appreciated. I haven’t bought it myself, and have heard various reports here and there. I’d be interested to hear your take once you’ve read it.

Hey Hanna! I can’t wait to see what you have to say on your site! Sorry it took so long, I think WordPress went to spam for a while.
